- Set up your trip diary account Then, log in the commute option trips you take from May 3 through July 9, including any use of carpooling/vanpooling, bike commuting, transit, telecommuting and/or walking.
You’ll receive a USB FA$T LANE member card once you’ve set up your online Trip Diary. As a card carrying FA$T LANE member, you’ll get exclusive perks around town – discounts, extra services & more!
- FA$T LANE Commute Challenge runs Monday, May 3 through Friday, July 9
- Total number of weeks: 10 weeks
- Total number of regular work days: 48 days (excludes Memorial Day and Fourth of July Holiday)
- Only work-related commute option trips in Marion, Polk and Yamhill Counties can be counted
- A one-way trip using any commute option counts as a single trip (i.e. to work and returning home counts as two separate trips)
- Individuals can join the FA$T LANE Commute Challenge anytime May 3 through July 9
- Number of possible one-way trips: 96 trips
- Challenge trip qualifiers for incentives and prizes:
- 20 one-way trips—equal to 10 days of round-trips
- 50 one-way trips—equal to 25 days of round-trips
- 75 one-way trips—equal to 38 days of round-trips
*To qualify, you must work in Marion, Polk or Yamhill Counties. Trips need to be a commute trip and logged into the Drive Less Trip Diary no more than one week after taken. Incentives will be given while supplies last upon logging the required, verifiable one-way trips by an eligible commuter.
Determination of eligibility, receipt of incentives and prizes is at the discretion of Salem-Keizer Transit employees and/or its agents. Prize winners will be randomly selected in July from eligible individuals who complete the required trips.
