There are now handy online tools that allow you to map out multiple destinations. Sites like Google Maps and Microsoft Live Search Maps are great resources to help you plan ahead and group your trips together. Here are some quick directions to get you started.

1. Go to maps.google.com
2. Click on "Get Directions"
3. Enter your first two addresses
4. If you need to add more destinations, click on "Add Destination"
5. Enter destinations

(For Portland, and other selected urban areas, you can plan your route based on your mode of choice, including driving your car, taking public transit or walking.)

(Live Search Maps also gives you route options for either the shortest time or shortest distance to your destination. And, it includes a feature called “Clearflow” which will automatically plan your route to avoid traffic.)
