Find Your TriMet Transit Stop ID Number
Wondering what bus or MAX stop you’re at? Every TriMet stop or station has its own unique Stop ID number. Knowing your Stop ID number can be helpful especially when using TriMet’s TransitTracker, Online Trip Planner and other transit tools.
Here are some tips for finding a TriMet Stop ID number:
- Look for the ID number on schedules or reader boards at bus stops and MAX/WES stations. At locations where buses or trains travel in more than one direction, such as transit centers and MAX/WES stations, there may be a different Stop ID number for each direction.
- Dial 503-238-RIDE. From the main menu, select option "1" (TransitTracker) to find your stop using the automated system, or "3" to connect to a customer service representative during business hours.
- Visit trimet.org/transittracker/stopidnumbers.htm and enter an address or intersection in the Stop ID lookup box.
- Visit TransitTracker countdown pages, trimet.org/arrivals/index.htm.
- View the Interactive System Map and zoom in to see stops, then click on a stop for details at ride.trimet.org/.
- Use the Stop ID Directory on your Palm or Pocket PC at trimet.org/transittracker/pdadirectory.htm.
- Download and print out the Stop ID Handy Pocket Guide, at trimet.org/transittracker/pocketguide.htm.
